MYANMAR – It has been reported that Mr. Min Ko Naing, the 88 generation student, urged the public to resist against the junta council’s forceful conscription in various ways besides leaving for the liberated zones.
Mr. Min Ko Naing has urged the civilians regarding the promulgation of the conscription act by the junta council on the night of February 10.
Mr. Min Ko Naing mentioned that the civilians should not easily think of going to prison instead of joining the junta council’s army. He also reminded the civilians to understand that they (the civilians) might be used as human shields when they are the prisoners. The junta council is trying to provide military training hastily. The junta council is forcefully declaring the most brutal method as they cannot fight against the revolutionary forces.
Mr. Min Ko Naing mentioned that “those people who have informed to fight on the side of people when the junta council’s summons and medical examination boards extort money from the civilians, should be prepared.”
The fascist coup council threatened and said they have a strength of hundred thousands. Actually, they (the junta council) desperately respond while admitting all of their army, navy and air force are facing defeats. So, the civilians have to respond properly.
Mr. Min Ko Naing mentioned that he is currently consulting with the relevant organisations and will make an announcement soon. He also urged the public to take responsibility as much as they (the civilians) can.
