YANGON DIVISION – Panda, a member of Dark Shadow, informed that the Joint Office and Police Battalion 9 in western Hlaingthayar Township was remotely detonated on February 13 evening and that there could have been casualties.
Dark Shadow is said to have remotely set off explosions near the Joint Office and Police Battalion 9 on February 13 at 9:07 p.m. and 9:09 p.m., and the team explained that the attack is intended as a protest against the junta council illegitimately enforcing the conscription law.
“We intended for this attack to disrupt the enforcement of conscription law by the terrorist junta council. According to ground reports, there were casualties. We respectfully request the people once again to avoid the barracks, police stations, administration targets, and pillars of the terrorist junta council. We have been able to conduct one mission after another against administration targets these days but some missions have to be abandoned due to the presence of civilians. Dark Shadow UG (Urban Guerrilla) Forces would like to say that we will continue to fight alongside the people till the fall of the dictatorship. The urban will never forget the revolution, we are everywhere,” said Panda, the Charge of Dark Shadow.
Residents of Hlaingthayar also confirmed that there was an explosion in the townships on February 13 night.
