MYANMAR – The National Unity Government (NUG) and ethnic revolutionary organisations (EROs) have formed central administration and coordination committees in the military sector fighting against the junta council and have seized control of 60% of the country, as stated in the third anniversary announcement of the NUG.
The NUG established the People’s Defence Force as the nucleus of the future federal army and established forces, prepared, trained and battled in cooperation with EROs and has now arrived at the current situation where they can carry out offensive strategies. NUG has formed central administration and coordination committees such as C3C and J2C with the EROs and are working together to implement military strategies.
It is also announced that the NUG and EROs have seized control of over 60% of the country including five border trade hubs and were able to carry out attacks on important military targets such as Nay Pyi Taw, Pyin Oo Lwin and defense industry factories.
