MANDALAY DIVISION – Locals reported that the terrorist junta forces stormed the villages along Irrawaddy River in Singu Township by blocking the land and water routes, torched Thea Inn Village, on the morning of October 19, and the residents have been forced to flee from their lands to save their lives.
On October 19, at around 5 a.m., the junta fleet of ships that was sailing from Mandalay raided and pillaged Kyet Tu Yway Village. On the other hand, the junta-backed Pyu Saw Htee thugs and the terrorist junta forces of Ywar Thar Yar Village in Singu Township stormed and ransacked Hin Thar Ma Village.
Residents said that the arsonist junta forces committed arson raids in Thea Inn Village starting from 11:00 a.m., on October 19, after the Revolutionary Forces combated those who had been storming and looting the villages along the Irrawaddy River in Singu Township form the land and water route and the battle took place near Hin Thar Ma Village.
“We were suddenly attacked by the murderous junta forces. They blockaded and attacked and we had to run away. We didn’t have time to get any of our belongings. We only had beans to plant. The rest was lost in the previous junta arson attacks,” explained a local about the incident in Thea Inn Village.
It was said that the farmers had bought the peanut seed as now is time to plant peanuts. In May, the junta army burned down almost the entire Thea Inn Village, and carried out aerial bombings with its fighter jets while also conducting ground offensive attacks and arson attacks.
At present, the terrorist junta army was rampaging in the villages along the Irrawaddy River, and thousands of locals of Thea Inn, Hin Thar Ma and Kyet Tu Yway Villages had been forced to run away.
