SAGAING DIVISION – The terrorist junta council soldiers fired heavy weapons against Sihlaung Village, Yinmabin Township, killing four civilians and injuring 21 others, according to Sagaing People’s Helpers Network.
Sihlaung Village was reportedly attacked with 120mm artillery at 4:30 p.m. on March 13 by the junta force stationed in Aung Zaya Myothit near Chindwin Bridge, Yinmabin Township.
Five of the artillery shells were said to have exploded in the village and three others fell in the vicinity of Sihlaung Village.
Due to the terrorist junta soldiers’ attack, one man and three women : a total of four civilians lost their lives on the spot, and 21 locals have been injured and receiving treatments.
Additionally, six cows were killed and some of the houses were destroyed, reported the locals. The villagers were also forced to flee.
Sagaing People’s Helpers Network mentioned that they are in need of help and support for the dead and injured people and families whose houses have been destroyed.
