SHAN STATE – The PNLA announced that military councils continuously attacked Hsihseng town, which was occupied by the Pa’ O National Liberation Army (PNLA using drones and heavy weapons that damaged many people’s homes, public markets and religious buildings.
It’s stated that on March 11, the military council continuously attacked Hsihseng with drones and heavy weapons, taking about 40 shots.
The military council is on the offensive to recapture Hsihseng town. There was a battle with the PNLA in the north of the town, and the military council army had not yet entered the town.
In other areas, the Military Council Army is conducting heavy weapons fire and airstrikes on the towns and villages they have lost and targeting civilians.
It’s stated that the military council announced that it continued to fire heavy weapons on the Meneitaung area of Hopong Township, Pa’O region, and the military council is openly committing human rights violations and war crimes.
“The military council that is attacking such a small town with a poison bomb should not be viewed by world organizations. It is necessary to take effective action,” said PNLA spokesperson Khun Rainyan.
The PNLA has also stated that world organizations, including the United Nations, need to take effective action against the fact that the military council is attacking and killing people in the strongest and most brutal ways.
