KACHIN STATE – More than 1,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) urgently require assistance following battles in Sumprabum Township, according to a KIA official.
On March 8 and 13, KIA forces attacked junta camps in Ma Li Yan and Sumprabum, resulting in a growing number of IDPs. Currently, they are in need of raincoats, drinking water, transportation, provisions, clothes, and blankets. KIA controls Sumprabum Town and continues to attack the remaining junta camps, despite facing junta airstrikes.
