MYANMAR – Junta council announced on August 2 evening that Chief Judge, Auditor General, two Chairmen of anti-corruption and National Human Rights Commission, 4 ministers and 3 members of junta council were removed from their positions respectively.
Junta council members Maung Ko and Dr. Aung Kyaw Min were removed and other member Dr. Kyaw Htun was transferred as a Central Advisor.
It has been reported that Chief Judge Tun Tun Oo, Auditor General Tin Oo, Chairman of anti- corruption commission Htay Aung, Chairman of National Human Rights Commission Hla Myint, Minister of Religion Ko Ko, Minister of Electricity Thaung Han, Minister of Energy Myo Myint Oo and Minister of Labour Dr. Pwint San were retired from their positions.
