SAGAING DIVISION – Burma Rangers Local People Defence Force (LPDF), based in Shwebo District, Sagaing Division, is said to be providing financial support to the families of two comrades who were fallen during the battle.
An official of Burma Rangers LPDF, Mr. Amy stated that there were a total of three fallen comrades: two 19-year-old comrades and one 32-year-old comrade during the battles from April 2023 to July 2023, those three comrades are said to be singles, and since the 32-year-old comrade doesn’t have parents and his siblings are currently living far away, LPDF could only support 0.2 million MMK each to the families of two 19-year-old comrades.
“One of the 19-year-old comrades’ father has been arduously working as a farmer for a living. Another 19-year-old comrade has nine family members: seven siblings and parents, and he is the youngest. Another 32-year-old comrade doesn’t have parents, and he has lived on his own. All his siblings are married and live in faraway regions. So, we just support two families currently,” Mr. Amy said.
In addition, the said financial support has reportedly been given by the Burma Rangers’ funds. Burma Rangers LPDF is said to be one of the revolutionary forces against the junta council in Shwebo District, Sagaing Division.
