SHAN STATE – Junta council soldiers abducted and murdered two youths from Kachin Baptist Church, dressing them in TNLA uniforms before burying them, as reported by the residents.
The two victims, Bran Aung and Tu Ja, were abducted by the junta soldiers while returning to their village after purchasing sports items on July 25. They were from Tee Mar Village and were killed at the exit of Nan Om Village. The junta soldiers also confiscated the Church car that the victims were riding.
After murdering the youths, the junta troops dressed up their dead bodies in TNLA uniforms and buried them in the jungle near Nan Om Village.
On the day of the youths’ murder, the junta forces recklessly fired heavy artillery shells, killing Mr. Ai Lot from Nan Om Village. The junta troops also forcibly took his body, dressed it in a TNLA uniform, and disposed of it in the jungle.
On July 25, around 11 a.m., clashes occurred near Hsihseng, the upper area of Nan Om Village, Muse Township. As a result, the junta soldiers recklessly fired heavy artillery shells and conducted airstrikes, resulting in the death of two civilians, including Mr. Ai Lot, and injuring another because the shells dropped and exploded inside Nan Om Village.
