MAGWAY DIVISION – Junta council soldiers forced shop owners to display vinyl in front of their shops, instructing the public not to worry about the conscription law and not to trust reliable media, said the shop owners.
It happened at the shops beside the Naypyidaw – Taung Nyo Road, in front of Chaung Nat, Taungdwingyi Township.
“The junta soldiers pressured us to display the vinyl, saying the public shouldn’t worry about the conscription law and not to trust reliable media in Myanmar. The vinyl size must be 4’ x 3’, and we must pay for it ourselves. Two vinyls will be placed, and if not, the junta council threatened to take action against us,” said one shop owner.
One vinyl will cost 10,800 MMK, and two will be 21,600 MMK. The shop owners are worried because of the junta’s pressure. They also distribute flyers about their propaganda.
