TANINTHARYI DIVISION – Palaw Regional Defence Force (PRDF) is going to launch a “Drone Project” to speed up the aerial attacks in Palaw Township, Myeik District, Tanintharyi Division.
An accountable person of PRDF mentioned that they intend to buy a drone that is urgently needed to conduct aerial reconnaissance and aerial attacks.
The accountable person continued, “During the battle, our drone was shot down and destroyed by the junta council troops. We are all saddened by the destruction of the drone like we lost one of our comrades and the attack and reconnaissance movements are also delayed. We appeal to the public to participate in the project that intends to buy a drone which is important in the revolutionary process.”
The duration of the project will be from June 1 to 30. A large attack drone will cost between 250,000 baht and 450,000 baht and a grenade will cost around 250,000 MMK.

In March and April, PRDF conducted 17 attacks with drones on the junta council checkpoints in Palaw Township and 15 junta council troops including an officer were killed.
