BAGO DIVISION – It was reportedly known from prison source that junta army has detained some of the prison authorities of Daik-U Prison as they suspected them helping the political prisoners contacting People Defence Forces.
Six prison authorities including the prison officer have been reportedly detained.
They have been detained alleging disobeying orders, and allowing prisoners contacting the outside world.
In the last week of June, there were rumors that Daik-U Prison Warden Mr. Myo Htike was detained and interrogated.
There were bad news spreading that some political prisoners were killed in Daik-U (Kyaik Sa Kaw) Prison recently.
The terrorist military army took political prisoners out of Daik-U Prison saying they would be transferred to other prisons and killed them instead.
According to the Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners (AAPP), 37 political prisoners from Daik-U Prison have been missing.
