KARENNI STATE – An official from JOBS For Kayah, a Karenni regional news source, said that four children were killed and more than 10 were injured when the terrorist junta air force bombed a school for displaced children in Demoso Township.
At 10:00 a.m. on February 5, the junta council’s plane dropped bombs twice on a school where war displaced children and children from local villages were studying, which was not a military target. The deceased children are boys between the ages of 11 and 13, and 10 others were injured.
“We don’t know to whom the broken body parts belong, we are not able to distinguish them. We can’t separate them. We have to pick them up one by one,” explained the JOBS For Kayah official.
It is learned that there are critically injured children among the 10 children injured by the terrorist junta council’s airstrikes.
“I heard that among the injured children, some of the injuries are very serious. The bombs were dropped while the children were at school. We don’t know the details of how bad the condition of the injured children is,” explained a revolutionary news source from the Karenni region.
Ms. Thinzar Aye from Clean Yangon, who is helping and rescuing war refugees in the Karenni region, said, “We only know that three people have died recently and that there are many people who have been affected.”
