MYANMAR: A staff member who doesn’t join the Civil Disobedience Movement was reportedly abducted by an anonymous armed force in Nanmati, Kachin state, as said by the local residents.
Ms. Nan Nan Khaing, a staff of the city development council who doesn’t join the Civil Disobedience Movement was reportedly abducted by the anonymous armed force from her house in Myotharyar Ward, Nanmati around 10 a.m. on July 22.
A local resident said, “Ms. Nan Nan Khaing, a staff of the city development council which is asking for heavy taxes from the civilians in Nanmati was abducted from her house by an anonymous armed force around 10 a.m. on July 22.”
Moreover, a Pyusawhtee militia from Kyauk Kanyar village, Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Division was reportedly shot dead, as said by the responsible person from Dawei Information Centre.
Mr. Aung Htike (aka) Watoke, a Pyusawhtee from Kyauk Kanyar village, Yebyu Township was reportedly shot dead while he was going to his orchard from his house by anonymous gunmen around 8:30 a.m. on July 17.
The deceased Aung Htike is a native of Magway division but he got married to a lady from Kyauk Kanyar village and moved there to work in the orchard. Since the atrocious army seized power, he has reportedly become a member of Pyusawhtee militias.
