SHAN STATE – Drone jammers have been tied to treetops in the base of junta light infantry battalion (LIB) 324 in Nammatu Township, Kyaukme District, to prevent against the drone attacks of the Three Brotherhood Alliance, according to sources within the army.
According to photos sent to the media, the jammers are of the same type equipped in military vehicles and are wired and tied to wooden planks nailed on treetops.
As the Northern Alliance (Three Brotherhood Alliance) forces have used drones as a main offensive alongside ground offensives when capturing the border towns at the China-Myanmar border including Hsibaw, Laukkai, Konegyan, Kwanlon and Muse, the junta council is said to be desperately acquiring anti-drone technology and their own drones.
It has also been reported that the junta regime is approaching the neighbouring nations and asking them for help in acquiring high tech drones, anti drone weapons, network jammers and technology.
