NEW ZEALAND -Union Minister for Human Rights of the National Unity Government, Mr. Aung Myo Min, met with members of parliament from New Zealand’s opposition Labour Party on May 9. It was reported that the representatives discussed the Myanmar issues.
In addition, the President of New Zealand’s Council of Trade Unions, Mr. Richard Wagstaff, and his team also met the NUG minister on May 8 and discussed issues related to the violation of workers’ and unions’ freedoms, including forced labor by the Myanmar Military Council.
