MYANMAR – The family members of the junta council are facing difficulties going abroad because the international community does not accept the junta council, and the junta office does not allow the family members of the junta troops to go abroad.
They are facing difficulties in living and eating and are trying to go to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, and other countries. But they couldn’t even apply for a passport without the permission of the junta office.
“If the family members of the junta troops want to apply for a passport, they must ask permission from the relevant State Office and the junta office. This letter will go to Naypyidaw, and the junta council will ask to see the offer letter from the other countries. They cannot easily apply for the passport,” said a junta source.
The family members of the junta troops must pay money for the permission, and the junta officers treat the junta troops’ families as their servants. The junta soldiers’ sons or daughters are trying to work in Malaysia and Thailand due to low salaries and the economic recession.
