NAYPYITAW – Taungoo District People’s Defence Force 3501, Squadron 6 has announced that they conducted inspections on the Thargaya-Koepin Road in Yedashe Township, Bago Division, which is just seven miles away from Naypyitaw Administration Region where the junta council is headquartered.
It was said that on December 16 and 17, on Thargaya-Koepin Road near 15 miles, the vehicles of the passersby were inspected to find out whether the military manufactured products were being carried and whether the people related to the junta council were on board. In addition, PDF forces also had friendly discussions with the civilians.
It is said that these actions showed the message to the civilians that the members of PDFs from the jungle are getting closer to the headquarters of the junta council and showed disrespect to the junta council.
Approximately five miles away from the place where the members of PDFs inspected, there are three junta checkpoints and military battalions. It is said that the members of PDF will perform military operations against the junta battalions depending on the situations and circumstances.
After the members of PDF held their inspections, the forces of the junta council inspected the same areas for hours. Due to the performances of PDF on the roads near Naypyitaw, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing and the other military leaders had been criticised by the junta council supporters.
