NAY PYI TAW DIVISION – According to a military source, more than 200 junta soldiers have been treated for amputations at the 1000-bedded Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw in the recent two months (June and July).
Especially, the junta troops operating in Southern Shan State, and Karenni (Kayah) State were reportedly injured by the drone attacks.
“In such a military hospital based in Nay Pyi Taw, only the emergency (EA transfer) is usually done. The fact that a central hospital like this has higher admission means the small local hospitals must already be struggling and overloaded. The junta forces led by General Min Aung Hlaing (are indeed facing quite a loss and) anxious heartbeats from Naypyidaw could be heard, stated CDM Captain Thar Htet Nyan.
In addition, the junta council sources stated that the support for those injured soldiers who had their limbs amputated, is being cut by senior officers.
“When it comes to raiding a military camp or fighting in battlefields, we have upper-handed drone technology. Of course there are some constraints for making better drones and technology, especially in financial support. I believe that we can overcome this with the strength and support of our people,” said an official from the People’s Defence Force of Demoso Township.
Currently, there are frequent battles in Phekon and Mobye and the fighting is intense in Ywarthit, Hpasawng, and Maese in the Bawlakhae District of Karenni State.
The Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) announced that nearly 50 military troops were killed in the fights at Karenni (Kayah) state in June.
Small skirmishes took place in Loikaw, Demoso, and Shartaw while more intense battles occurred in Hpasawng, Maese, and Ywarthit areas. Battles also took place in Southern Shan State, Mobye, and Phekon Towns.
