SAGAING DIVISION – The junta council bombarded Indaw Township from the air for two consecutive days without any ongoing battle.
The junta council fighter jets dropped bombs on Nabar Village (Locally known as Microwave Village) on Monday morning (November 20) around 11 a.m.
They dropped four bombs near the Microwave (Communication tower) without a battle, said a resident from Indaw.
“The target of today’s (November 20) bombing was near the tower. There were people near the tower. A woman was injured in the back.”
Junta fighter jets bombed and conducted airstrikes near that same place on November 19 afternoon, destroying a total of five civilian house and shops and a greengrocer woman was killed.
“She was delivering the green-grocery to Mawlu. It happened on the road that day when she was carrying green-grocery from Kathar to Mawlu.”
The deceased is reported to be Ms. Than Than Maw in her forties, and her husband and brother were also injured.
Although there is no recent fighting in Indaw Township, the Myitkyina – Mandalay Union Highway has been blocked by the revolutionary forces active in the border between Sagaing Division and Kachin State in the Township.
The junta council troops have arrived and penetrated Nabar Village, and there have been heavy weapon firings from Indaw strategic hill towards Nabar Village for the past three days.
