SAGAING DIVISION – More than 15,000 residents are fleeing due to the army’s patrolling of Pale township in the morning of July 28, according the strike leadership committee, Pale township.
At 5:00 a.m., the junta army came out in a column from the side of Pale and entered the Kyunbogone village.
“Last night, the junta army column was in Pale, so people were on alert. When the column left early this morning, it was hit by a mine at the exit of Pale and went back in for a while. After that, it came back out and now it has reached the villages,” said an official of the strike leading committee.
It is not known the casualties of the military council army in the mine attack.
It’s been reported that after that, the junta army was raiding the villages, so the locals from Kyunbogone, Mangyigwa, Ywathar, Laingone, Kangyi, Mwayton, Nyaung Gone, Pho Gone, Kan Pauk, Nwe Shouk, Lawkkar, and Inngyin Su villages were fleeing.
