SAGAING DIVISION- An official from the local revolutionary forces told the media that 10 military soldiers were killed in the battle that took place near Lep Bagan village last Sunday (February 18).
On February 18, at around 10:00 a.m., near Lep Bagan village, about 2 miles west of Pale Township, a battle broke out between the terrorist junta army and local resistance forces.
“The clash lasted for more than an hour. When at least 10 soldiers from the junta side were killed, they asked for aerial support. At around 11:00 a.m., aerial bombs were fired from Mi35, under North-West Military Command. Due to the aerial bombing, a company commander in my unit, who was like a brother to me, had fallen,” said an official from the local revolutionary forces.
It is reported that the terrorist military column clashed with the revolutionary forces on its way to patrol and raid the villages in Pale Town.
