RAKHINE STATE – There were intense fights between the Arakan Army (AA) and the terrorist junta army all day long in Pauktaw Town, on January 6, as the genocidal junta sent its reinforcements to Pauktaw Town from the water route, according to the announcement of the Three Brotherhood Alliance.
“The terrorist junta sent its reinforcements to Pauktaw Town from the water route, resulting in the intense skirmishes between AA and the junta army throughout the day,” said the Three Brotherhood Alliance on January 6.
Moreover, the Three Brotherhood Alliance reported that all of the terrorist junta forces of Taung Shey Taung Byuharkone (Strategic outpost) near Tin Ma Village in Kyauktaw Township surrendered to AA at around 9:00 p.m. on January 6.
It was also reported that AA had continued its offensive attacks to completely capture all of the rest of the junta’s major military bases in Paletwa Town; 9th Military Operations Command (MOC-9), two headquarters in the 11th Light Infantry Division, and Mee Wa Byuharkone (a strategic outpost) on the Paletwa-Kyauktaw border.
Moreover, the atrocious junta army sent its reinforcements and weapons to Ramree, Kyaukpyu, Munaung, Gwa, and Thandwe Township by using the water route, as they were unable to send it from the land route. The terrorist junta has been moving its military operations more than ever by using water routes in those days, according to the Three Brotherhood Alliance.
