MON STATE – The locals said that the junta police station in Yinnyein Village, Paung Township, Mon State was attacked with drones on September 7 evening.
The coalition of revolutionary forces attacked Yinnyein Police Station twice, first at 4 p.m. and once more at 4.30 p.m.
During the drone attack, there were explosions in the station but the details of junta casualties and damages have yet to be ascertained.
Locals reported being scared by the reckless fire of junta forces after the police station was bombed.
The coalition of revolutionary forces also attacked the Paung Township General Administration Office and police station on August 27 with drones.
The junta Minister of Home Affairs, Lieutenant General Yar Pyae admitted on August 21 that the usage of UAV drones by the revolutionary forces would be challenging in future.
