MANDALAY DIVISION – According to the Anyar Federal Task Force (AFTF), an attack was made on the Pyu Saw Htee Camp in Myingyan Township last Monday (April 1) and some military equipment including a gun and bullets were seized.
It was reported the Pyu saw Htee camp in Kyaukone Village, Thaephyuwa Village Tract, where two soldiers, a policeman, and Pyu militia members were stationed, was raided at around 5 a.m. on April 1.
After the attack, a Shotgun (9 bores) and 76 bullets, a bulletproof vest, two mobile phones, a guitar, a slingshot, and ten Jinkaleats (similar to slingshot where iron rods are used instead of pellets) were confiscated.
“They shot back three or four times and ran away. There may be some casualties of Pyu members,” said Mr. Leo, who is in charge of the Anyar Federal Task Force (AFTF).
He continued that junta reinforcements arrived from Myingyan town, so the resistance forces burned down the camp and retreated.
The attack was carried out by Anyar Federal Task Force (AFTF), Moshe Dayan Guerrilla Force, Myingyan District Battalion No. 3 and No. 8, Mom’s Arm Guerrilla Force and Justice Warriors Force.
The Anyar Federal Task Force also bombed the military council troops stationed in Tawpu Village, in Myingyan Township, last February with the alliance forces.
