BAGO DIVISION- In Tanaw Kyun Village, Waw Township, two villagers were reportedly admitted to hospital after being beaten by the Pyu Saw Htee group, according to residents.
On April 2, around 9:00 p.m., the 30-year-old Tanaw Kyun villagers, Mr. Kyaw Zin Myo and Mr. Than Aye went outside the village for fishing when they were beaten up by a group of Pyu Saw Htee on patrol.
“The villagers went out of the village and were interrogated by the Pyu Saw Htee team on patrol. They were reportedly beaten up and hospitalized for their injuries. They have not discharged until today (April 4),” said a local.
It is reported that two villagers had broken ribs and injuries on the head and hands as a result of being beaten by the Pyu Saw Htee group.
The injured (victims) were sent to Waw Hospital and from there referred to Bago Hospital.
The beating up was done by nine Tanaw Kyun Village Pyu members; Kyaw Swar Win, San Gyi, Naing Wai Lin, Ha Lwel, and others.
