SAGAING DIVISION – Residents said that a 70-year-old elderly man was killed when the Junta Council launched another airstrike on Union Road in Taze township, Sagaing Division.
On February 15th, at around 11:30 p.m., the terrorist army bombarded by using the YAK-130 jet fighters near Pa Daingone village on the Taze – Kanhtoo Ma – Kalewa Road section of Taze Township. As a result of the attack, a 70-year-old man died in an explosion in a field outside the village. In addition, an elderly woman was also injured, residents said.
“It’s a little different from where they bombed the day before. But the places where they were bombed were in the Taze district,” said Ko Htoo Khant Zaw (Mother’s Son), information officer of the People’s Defense Comrade group.
On February 14th, the Military Council troops bombed at least six times from the air for 2 days in a row up to the (38, 39, 51) miles in Taze township of Taze – Kam Htoo Ma – Kalaywa Road section. Two Lorries were destroyed and some people were injured.
An army plane bombed a school for displaced children in Demoso township, Karenni State (Kayah State), on the morning of February 5th, killing 4 children and injuring more than 10 others.
