NAY PYI TAW – A military source in Nay Pyi Taw said that around 2,000 military veterans from various states and regions have been summoned to Nay Pyi Taw by the terrorist junta council, and they will be given teo weeks of military training in Taungdwingyi then sent to the front line as reserve troops.
Veterans from various provinces including Nay Pyi Taw, from the ranks of private to officers have been called back. The recruited military force is nearly 2,000, and these veterans will be given two weeks of military training at the battalions in Taungdwingyi. After that, they will be sent to various battlefields as reserve forces.
“They are called for front line reserve troops. Now they are gathering in Nay Pyi Taw. They are coming steadily. After that, they will receive two weeks of military training and shootinf practice in Taungdwingyi. After that, they will be sent to various front lines as front line reserve troops,” said a military source in Nay Pyi Taw.
Similarly, on the other hand, within the Nay Pyi Taw council area, in the townships, wards and villages, registration is being done to form Pyithusit militia. It is learned that they are working to collect militia and army recruits by collecting household lists and population lists and using a lottery system.
