KARENNI STATE – The Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) official said that the fighting is intense on Hpruso – Bawlakhe Road.
In addition, Karenni military sources also said that they seized some weapons from the military council during the fighting.
“The fighting is going on continuously. From a military point of view, we can’t release any news yet. It’s happening around the village of Nang Phe and Da Le,” explained the KNDF official.
He also informed that the military council convoy with more than 100 vehicles has not yet entered Bawlakhe township.
“Mainly, the junta council is trying to get the passage for the military convoys. The junta council troops based in Bawlakhe and the troops accompanying the military convoys are fighting on both sides,” said the above official.
On September 25th, in the battle near Nang Phe village, the bodies of the junta council soldiers and some weapons were obtained.
“Yes, we got bodies and weapons. But the relevant battalions will release it,” said a Karenni military source.
The military council is also trying to recapture the town of Maese, which is controlled by the Karenni army, including controlling the strategic roads of Karenni state.
Therefore, starting from the second week of June, the Junta Council has sent a total of 38 battalions from the 55th, the 66th Divisions and Military Operations Command to Karenni State.
In addition, some Karenni military sources also informed that the military council is sending large long-range weapons to Karenni state these days.
