KACHIN STATE – It’s been reported that a local was damaged due to the military council firing a heavy weapon at the KIA gate and exploding inside a civilian home.
A local man said that around 5:00 pm, on October 19, the junta army of Tarmakan Village in Hpakant Township fired heavy weapons towards Haung Par Village.
“At the entrance of Haung Par Village, the KIAs were stationed like a gate, so the military told them not to station, and the other side did not remove them at all. That’s why the Tarmakan junta army fired two heavy weapons in this direction in the evening.”
One of the two heavy weapons fired by the Tarmakan junta army exploded in Kaunt Kho Village between Tarmakan Village and Haung Par Village, a 13-year-old woman was injured.
It is known that the injured young woman was taken to Hpakant Public Hospital overnight yesterday and the exact situation cannot be confirmed yet.
