KARENNI STATE – It was reported that at least four terrorist junta soldiers were killed in Hpasawng battle, according to the official Hpasawng PDF.
On June 18, at around 9:30 p.m., the terrorist junta forces carried out offensive attacks in Kyauk Pan Nyo Village in the eastern part of Salween River, Hpasawng Township. The joint Revolutionary Forces of Hpasawng People’s Defence Force, Bawlakhe People’s Defence Force, Loikaw PDF and the two combined Ethnic Revolution Organizations engaged with the terrorist junta forces.
At least four terrorist junta soldiers were killed and some were injured during the fight, but no one was harmed on the side of Revolutionary Forces.
“There were more than 100 of the atrocious junta forces that carried out offensive attacks in the eastern part of Salween River since June 16. Under the current situation, the fighting will continue,” said the official of Hpasawng PDF.
In addition, at least two terrorist junta soldiers were killed and some were injured during the fight in the eastern part of Salween River on June 17, and two combatants of Hpasawng PDF were also wounded.
After the three junta’s outposts and police station in Mese Township were being attacked and captured by the anti-junta Resistance Fighters, the genocidal junta council has increased its reinforcements in Hpasawng Township on June 15 and carried out offensive attacks which causing the fights.
The junta’s Infantry Battalion – 134 and 135 based in Hpasawng Township.
