KACHIN STATE – The terrorist army troops who were on board the junta council ships that came down the Irrawaddy River from Bhamo, destroyed the homes of the residents of Hsin Tat Village and also killed and ate their cows and chickens.
A Myohla KPDF said that the military council force that came with the ship broke into and destroyed the properties of the residents of Hsin Tat Village, Shwegu Township, and took away the items.
“The terrorist soldiers entered (the village) while opening fire from the ship. We couldn’t even do anything as the gunfire from the ship was very strong. Then they took everything in the shops. The clothes, pots and pans were thrown away,” he said.
It is reported that the terrorist army of junta council destroyed more than 50 local homes and their household goods, and also killed and ate a cow and chickens belonging to the local residents.
These ships were towed by the junta council to ship food from Mandalay to Bhamo along the Irrawaddy River.
The ships returned to Shwegu on August 26, and left Shwegu at 5 o’clock the next morning.
