RAKHINE STATE – Junta army reportedly fired heavy weapons in the morning of December 27 resulted four civilians including a middle school student injured in Buthidaung Township.
The injured people are a student, Chit Oo (13), studying in Grade 8 at Saytitaung High School who lives in Sinkonetine Village of Yathedaung Township, Mr. Salaya (33) and Ms. Nge Ma (46) from Saytitaung Village, and Ms. A Wai Kyu (30).
The fascist council’s army stationed at Nwaryontaung Village intentionally shelled seven heavy artilleries towards the surrounding villages in the morning of December 27 at around 9:35 a.m.
One of the heavy weapons dropped on Teacher Tun Hla‘s house, one fell behind Mr. Win Thein Zaw’s house at Saytitaung Village, and three others fell on the other side of Village stream at Sinkonetine Village.
The weapon exploded at Teacher Tun Hla`s house injured the student Chit Oo’s left leg, and nearby people, Mr. Salaya’s left thigh, and Ms. Nge Ma and Ms. A Wai Kyu’s left arms.
After the fightings broke out again between Arakan Army and fascist council’s troops starting from November 13, junta army has been shelling intentionally everyday toward civilians’ villages and towns using heavy weapons, and small arms from military vessels, drones, helicopters, and fighter jets.
Due to those inhumane attacks from junta council, more than 50 innocent civilians across Rakhine State were killed and at least 130 people were severely injured.
