CHIN STATE – The terrorist council’s policemen and staffs from Mindat Town ran away when they received a warning call from Chinland Defence Force (CDF) while they were enlisting the youths for conscription in the junta army.
CDF-Mindat reportedly called and warned when the military council’s lackey staffs came to Sanpya Ward of Mindat Town on March 23, and collected household members list to implement junta council’s conscription law.
“They (junta members) came near Sanpya market. CDF called and warned not to do again and to co-operate. There were no junta soldiers, only the policemen. They haven’t gone other wards yet. They started from downtown area and ran away when CDF called and warned them,” said a person close to CDF-Mindat.
Locals said that there were new staffs in the junta group enlisting for conscription. There were no further action from junta side until the reported day (March 29) after CDF-Mindat gave a warning call.
Fascist council troops can station only military camp at the Mindat Town area and at the governmental offices but the surrounding of the town and villages have been under the control of CDF- Mindat.
In August 2023, the CDF comrades reportedly went into the Mindat district hospital and drove out an ambulance but the junta forces stationing at the hospital didn’t dare to stop them.
At present, CDF has been stopping the enlisting of new members to the fascist army after the junta council issues conscription law. CDF-Mindat also warned that the security of those people recruiting for the military council would not be guaranteed.
