CHIN STATE – At 10:50 a.m. on June 28, a junta fighter jet reportedly dropped two bombs on a village located in the Administrative Area-4 of Mindat Township, Chin State.
This incident destroyed a civilian house and a fishpond. Shortly after the air bombardment, Mindat-based junta battalion 274 also arbitrarily fired ten times with 120 mm heavy weaponry at the village, causing damage to the monastery.
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on the afternoon of June 28, it was reported that battalion 274 fired three more times with a heavy weapon towards Administrative Area-2 of Mindat Township. Reportedly, no civilians were injured, but houses were destroyed.
