CHIN STATE – Mindat township Public Administration said religious buildings and homes were damaged due to aerial bombardment by the terrorist army on the village in prefecture 2 in Mindat township.
At around 1:30 a.m. on April 1st, the Terrorist Junta Council used a jet plane to attack the Mindat, 2 bombs were dropped close to the village in prefectures 2. A residential house and a religious building near the village were damaged, but the people of the village were not harmed.
Similarly, at around 11:30 a.m., the terrorist army carried out an air attack on areas around the prefecture 2 with 3 fighter jets carried out at least 10 air strikes, and the villages were fired indiscriminately with machine guns.
The locals were able to take protection in the bomb shelters, trenches and other safe places on time and there were no casualties. However, there were fires in residential houses in the village, and local residents had to extinguish the fire.
“The exact amount of damage has not yet been identified. We can only roughly say that many homes have been damaged. It will depend on the extent of the damage,” said Mindat township Public Administration, News, information and records official said.
In addition, the water pipes in the village, various buildings and public property were damaged during the bombing.
