ARAKAN STATE – The junta council forces aimlessly fired heavy weapons against Mayamagyi Ethnic Ward, Minpya Township, killing two children and causing five others to injure, according to the locals.
The artillery shell fired by the junta council force at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday (December 10) reportedly fell into the playground where children were playing, and an 11-year-old Ms.Sapal was killed on the spot. One of the six injured children was said to have died on the way to the hospital.
“The junta soldiers fired the artillery at the place where the children were playing. One of the children died on the spot due to artillery shrapnel and six were sent to the hospital. I learned that one of the injured children died as soon as they arrived at the hospital,” said a local.
