RAKHINE STATE – An official of Student Armed Force (SAF) said that SAF arrested a police sergeant alive, who ran away from junta council’s No.9 Military advanced training school at Minbya Township.
The mentioned sergeant Myo Zaw was said to be escaped from the Military advanced training school during Arakan Army’s (AA) attack in March. The SAF reportedly captured him alive at the border of Magway Division and Rakhine State.
The arrested police sergeant, Myo Zaw, is from the Police Battalion 36 of Sittwe Town, and is attending a training course at the Central Division 9.
“The Student Armed Force detained the enemy prisoner in accordance with the provisions of the Geneva Convention and properly handed it over to revolutionary alliance Arakan Army – AA. The AA will take responsibility for the next action,” said an official of the Student Armed Force (SAF).
