BAGO DIVISION – According to an accountable person of Thayarwaddy district people defence force, the members of PDF opened fire on the Faw truck driven by the Pyu Saw Htee militias who were smuggling the charcoal from the Bago Yoma, in Min Hla township, Bago division. As a result, two members of the Pyu Saw Htee militants were killed.
It was known that the comrades from Thayarwaddy district battalion 3802, company 5 attacked the Faw truck which was smuggling charcoal by the combination of the junta council troops and the members of Pyu Saw Htee, on Seinkanlant-Myo Chaung thoroughfare near Kharchin mountain, at around 5:20 p.m., on July 19. During the attack, two members of Pyu Saw Htee were killed and the vehicle was burnt down.
Two members of Pyu Saw Htee who were killed were Mr. Chit Hmwe and Mr. Kaung San. They were the followers of the sergeant Khin Maung Kyi from infantry battalion 1. They used to help the junta council troops to travel through the Yoma with their Faw truck and used to passionately support the junta council troops to search the PDF camps. The members of PDF eradicated them as they were the pillars of the junta council.
The accountable person mentioned “after issuing an initial warning, we carried out the operation as Thayarwaddy district battalion 3802, company 5 is responsible not only for rooting out the coup council and protecting the civilians but also for the preservation of the Bago Yoma.”
