MANDALAY DIVISION – Mr. Aung Kyaw Myo, a traffic police sergeant, was shot dead in Se Pin Village, Madaya Township, on Saturday (May 27) at around 4 p.m., according to an official from the Unicorn Guerrilla Force.
He was assigned to Madaya Downtown but took unofficial leave and went back to his wife’s home in Se Pin Village. That’s why PDF comrades shot him eight times at his home.
“He went back to his wife from Madaya. We also found all family members at his house and heard that he had a weapon. But we couldn’t find it and only confiscated one mobile phone. We also did nothing to his family members and didn’t take anything except one phone. We also found photos related to junta soldiers and police,” said an official.
The junta troops and police carried Mr. Aung Kyaw Myo’s body with two FAWs and recklessly shot inside the village, forcing the villagers to flee.
