MANDALAY DIVISION – There have been ongoing battles in Madaya Township and the terrorist junta army is operating airstrikes in the region, local people reported.
The battle broke out between revolutionary forces and junta troops on November 13 when the fascist army convoy that left from Myaungu Village invaded Kin Village in excessive forces.
The clashes continued for two days and the junta army bombarded using the air force. In addition, about 40 soldiers from the terrorist military column, who did not want to fight deserted the post, leading to an infighting at Mangyikone area. The details of the battle are yet to be confirmed.
“The battle started on November 13. I heard that 30 junta soldiers were killed in the clash. The junta army was quite strong, around 1,000 forces in strength. I heard that they also reinforced with four more military vehicles. The military thugs came from Myaungu Village towards Kin Village with an excessive force,” said a local resident.
At present, the terrorist military army has abducted eleven civilians. Since the junta army was bombarding from the air and firing with heavy weapons, villagers from Aung Chanthar, Myaungu, Kin, Magyikone, La Mine, Zeepyupin and Taungkoung Villages are fleeing.
