MANDALAY DIVISION – Locals reported that the nefarious junta council has ordered to shut down Myitta Aye Private Clinic in Meiktila Town.
Residents of Meiktila said that the junta received a complaint against Myitta Aye General Diagnostics and Private Clinic in Meiktila Town, and they have unfairly announced to close the clinic on October 15. “The order did not mention how long the closure will be,” said a resident.
The details of the closure have not yet been confirmed. The clinic is at the level of a hospital, the service fee is reasonable and provides good customer service, and so the people from rural areas also visit the clinic for treatments, according to some residents.
The brutal junta regime has closed six private hospitals in Mandalay during the coup d’état and annulled the hospital business licenses of Nan Taw, Myo Taw and Kant Kaw hospitals. Moreover, some owners of these hospitals and some employees including doctors and nurses were also lawlessly abducted by junta.
The terrorist junta regime has a grudge against the private clinics and hospitals and has forced to shut them down due to the active participation of medical staff in protests against the military coup and the appointment of CDM (Civil Disobedience Movement) staff, according to the medical community.
