MANDALAY DIVISION – The revolutionary forces reportedly combated the junta base near Ohn Dan Village in the western part of Mogoke Town, killing around 30 of terrorist junta forces, according to an official of Mogoke based battalions.
On June 20, between 2:30 p.m., and 6:00 p.m., the Resistance Fighters of Mogoke based Battalions 1221 and 1223 carried out an offensive attack on the junta’s base near Ohn Dan Village in the western part of Mogoke Town and stationed with over 40 of terrorist junta forces. The fighting lasted about three and a half hours. At least 30 terrorist junta soldiers were killed during the fight and Resistance Fighters were able to retreat without being harmed.
The Resistance Fighters carried out the offensive attack with the aim of capturing the junta’s camp, but withdrew from the battleground as the terrorist junta launched aerial bombings with its fighter jets and the arrival of junta’s reinforcements. Shortly after retreating, the junta launched aerial bombardment three times with its fighter jets. The reinforcements from Mogoke Town also arrived at the battleground in five full military trucks. There is no harm to the people, according to the official of Mogoke based battalions.
After the battle, the terrorist junta army retaliated with heavy weapons, and at 7:17 p.m., the fighter jets hovered five times and dropped 200-pound bombs three times.
