SHAN STATE – Mobye People Defense Force (MBPDF) has reported on May 28 that the genocidal junta sent its fighter jets and launched aerial bombings twice over the Internally Displaced (IDP) Camp in the western part of Mobye Town in Shan (South) State.
On May 28, at around 4:30 a.m., the brutal junta’s fighter jet bombarded over IDP camp, injuring four civilians and destroying three shelters.
The terrorist junta forces also launched artillery attacks at civilians’ area on May 27, and a three-and-a-half-year-old girl from a house in Si Kar (3) Ward in Mobye Town was hit by a weapon and had a severe open chest wound. She was rescued in time due to severe injuries, but lost her life, according to the Moebye Rescue Team.
On May 27, there were skirmishes between the allied Revolutionary Forces and the fascist junta forces, and the murderous junta carried out at least eight airstrike attacks and excessively used long-range weapons during a single day, according to the Revolutionary Forces.
Due to the tension in the military situation in Mobye between the allied Revolutionary Forces and the terrorist junta forces, the MBPDF has informed and urged the public and displaced people to pay special attention to security when passing through Mobye.
During the first quarter of 2023, the junta regime conducted at least 442 airstrikes on at least 56 townships, and at least 693 civilians were killed due to fighting and armed conflict, according to ISP Myanmar.
