SAGAING DIVISION – The National Unity Government (NUG) has provided support for the construction of 108 temporary tents for people fleeing the war in the Sagaing Division whose homes were burned down.
It was announced on September 13th, that the temporary tents were built this month, but the township location was not mentioned, but it was said that those tents were built in safe places.
This was implemented by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management with the funding of Comrades in Korea.
It was announced on September 11th that emergency shelters were also given to 146 families who fled the war in the upper Myanmar region whose houses were burned down by the military council troops.
It is supported by funds received from The End of Dictatorship (EOD) program in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and Investment and the campaign “Let’s seize Min Aung Hlaing’s house to strengthen the upper Myanmar land.”
The ministry said that humanitarian aid such as emergency food and shelter, as well as the rebuilding of temporary tents for the security of the area, were provided to the people affected by the war in the conflict areas during the revolution with people-to-people donations.
