SAGAING DIVISION – People provided food and grains to All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF) Column-3 of Chindwin Region, said ABSDF.
Despite the local people on the east bank of the Chindwin River are facing all kinds of difficulties due to the effects of the Cyclone Mocha, they have provided food and grains to the revolutionary forces and the comrades brought them even when facing the transportation difficulties.
“We are grateful to the revolutionary brothers and the people who are sending food to the student army despite the difficulties. Our forces are repairing the damaged bridges together with the local people. They have not received anything for rehabilitation. At the moment, charity organizations have not come and helped,” said Comrade Zeya, a member of ABSDF Column-3.
At present, the roads damaged by the Cyclone Mocha are being repaired in cooperation with the Local Defence Forces, he said.
ABSDF Column-3 also planted rice as food for their unit, together with other oil crops such as sunflower and groundnuts. The local people of the region have been reportedly helping to grow crops.
