SAGAING DIVISION – The junta council soldiers raided Kyar Paing Village, Monywa Township, on December 2, burning alive ten civilians and setting fire to over 150 houses.
Around 30 junta troops stationed at Swan Yee Htet Petrol Station in Myay Ne Village, along with around 30 Pyu Saw Htees from Taw Pu Village, raided the village around 8 a.m., setting fire to over 150 houses by placing ten civilians inside.
The victims are Mr. Soe Moe Thu, 29. Mr. San Shwe, 43. Mr. Chan Nyein, 29. Mr. Papiya, 37. Mr. San Win, 53. Mr. Nga Doe, 38. Mr. Hlaing Win, 38. Mr. Tun Tun, 20. Mr. Hlaing Thura, 23. Mr. Tun Khin, 43.
Kyar Paing Village is located north of Taw Pu Pyu Saw Htee Village, and junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htees frequently abused Kyar Paing Villagers, looting valuable items and forcing villagers to carry them to Taw Pu Village.
