MON STATE – A revolutionary news source reported that they conducted a Kamikaze Fixed Wing Drones attack for the second time while junta Deputy Commander Soe Win was holding an operational meeting at the South East Command in Mawlamyaing.
It has been reported that Alpha Bats company of Shar Htoo Waw Technology team attacked the sports venue where the meeting for special operations was held and the field where two military helicopters were parked at the South East Regional Command, in Mawlamyaing, using Kamikaze Fixed Wing Drones, at around 1:30 p.m. on April 9.
“Soe Win is still here today (April 9). He was holding a special meeting in the gymnasium with the battalion commanders and officers regarding the military situation on the southern front. The details of the damage are not known yet. We attacked the hall with three drones and the helicopter field with two drones. At present, it was initially known that one helicopter can no longer fly. As for updates on yesterday’s news, details are not yet known. We only learnt that the regional commander was scolded. Now, the city and the regional command offices have all been blocked off,” an official from the Alpha Bats Drone Force told the media.
Residents of Mawlamyaing reported hearing a series of explosions after a loud explosion.
It is expected that the head of South East Command, battalion commanders, some senior strategists and operational officers including Soe Win, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the military council, who was holding a special operations meeting, could have been injured due to the attack but it is difficult to investigate. However, witnesses reported that the road in front of the South East Command was closed, and the junta vehicles left for the airport, adding that three cars carrying soldiers in camouflage uniforms with the Myanmar badge came out of the area.
“Soe Win was also targeted yesterday (April 8). He was shocked but has not left the South East Command and even attened the meeting. That’s why we launched another attack today (April 9),” said a revolutionary news source.
In addition, as only one of the two helicopters was able to take off after the attack, while the other one was unable to take off, it is believed that one could have been damaged by the Kamikaze drone.
