THAILAND – On Wednesday (September 20) morning, Spring Revolution Interfaith Network (SRIN) and One meal 15 Baht group are said to have held a meeting at Mae Sot City, Thailand.
“Since the revolutionary forces in Mae Sot have faced difficulties in living as the revolution duration becomes longer, we have tried to support in what we could effort,” Mr. Min Thway Thit said.
One of the central committee members of former political inmate group from Interfaith network, Mr. Tun Kyi stated that this organization could only open twice a week on Monday and Thursday, intended for the CDMers (who participated in Civil Disobedience Movement), political activists and revolutionary forces in Mae Sot and said that he would like to invite more donors.
In addition, everyone of any faith and nationality in Mae Sot could have meals there.
“As we can only open two days a week, we need more donors to open more days and long term,” Mr. Poe Lay from Har Ngar Kaung Comedians Group added.
Furthermore, SRIN and One meal 15 Baht group declared in the meeting that this activity of “One Meal 15 Baht” has been initiated with 60,000 Baht capital fund currently by the support from 88th generation political force in American.
